Role description

Are you looking for an exceptional technical challenge in enabling non-programmers to generate advanced and performant web-applications? Do you want to work with the latest and always evolving front-end technologies?

👉 Mode details about the role:

1. Develop new functionalities, end-to-end

  • Own the implementation of new functionalities in the core product: visual editor, dashboard and generated web-applications.
  • Improve performance of the visual editor and the generated web-applications, in collaboration with the Head of Front-End and the CTO.
  • Work on the implementation of AI functionalities in the visual editor.
  • Improve existing core functionalities and front-end code base.

2. Improve internal development experience

  • Join a scaling team and participate in the normalization and implementation of best practices in the code for scaling purposes.
  • Work on our internal documentation.

3. Learn in depth about WeWeb’s application

  • At WeWeb, we make sure that all team members quickly grow in competence and take on more responsibility on what they are working on.
  • We will teach you how the application works in detail, so that you can progressively actively participate in developing core functionalities.

  • You will be joining the engineering department.
  • You will be directly reporting to our Head of Front-End, Aurélie Violette.

Who are we looking for

👩‍💻 👨‍💻 Profile:

We're looking for someone with genuine enthusiasm for WeWeb and its potential to empower users, along with a passion for staying informed about industry trends and competitors.

  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
  • You have 8+ years of experience as a front-end developer.
  • You have a strong proven experience working with Vue.js and can show a detailed understanding of the underlying mechanisms of this framework.
  • You have a passion for the front-end and you are a true friend of CSS.
  • You are rigorous and having a real sense of design is a plus.
  • You are a team player and know how to work with other developers.

Hiring process

  • If your application is selected, our Head of Front-End will contact you for a first chat (20mn).
  • A technical interview: one hour of a Vue app development exercise, followed by an exchange with our CTO, our CPO and the Head of Front-End.
  • If you did a great job - which we bet you will! - you will have a final interview with Raphaël, our CEO.

Additional information
  • We offer a caring work environment together with a full remote policy.
  • Salary range : €65k - €75k, gross per year.
  • We offer a strong equity package.

  • This role is a full-time position and can be based in our Paris, France office or 100% remote. We bring the whole team together for company off-sites twice a year.
